The Perth Bush Hash
The Perth Bush Hash has been "running" since 1998. It is a Hash for all the Family and runs usually on the last Sunday of each month unless there is a long weekend. Men, women, children, dogs and so on are all welcome. There is a short run along with the option to walk. Run time is usually 3pm at varying locations through out Perth. This is followed by a BBQ and general socialising - BYO everything.
Cost is $2 for Adults, $1 for children, or $5 per family.

Perth Bush Hash

Another perfect day for a hash run.We arrived at a very popular venue,but parking was pretty good because people usually start leaving as we arrive.Is it us or is it due to our 3pm start time?

From experience I knew it could be a hard run as there is a big lake to run around and a dirty big hill to climb.The run started clockwise around the lake.Could this be a long slog?No it was a false trail.Now it’s a mountain goat run.

We had a huge pack of runners,mainly kids with a few big ones like Terminator and Rebecca(a new runner who brought her kids).

Dicky Knees could test out his new rock hopping pole on the hill climb,he seemed to manage quite well.Iron man told me he was tired and sore  from bowling that morning but we all made it up the hill.We zig zagged around to a spot with a magnificent view of the ocean,Rottnest,Garden island,the old Powerstation and the Port Coogee marina.This was a good point to regroup and do some shutter buggery.We went up hill from here to the top.From here we overlooked the city and the ocean.At this point we realised Energiser was missing.I think he had too much energy and was too impatient to wait for the pack and he went on ahead on his own which caused panic amongst the pack.While the search party went out the late comers(Hodsons and Sidhus) caught up.Energiser was soon found and the pack headed home.

This was also meant to be an educational run as we were supposed to have stopped at the coach house museum and the Azalea Ley homestead.But being hardened hashers we all headed straight for our eskies for drinks and nibblies.

A good run and thanks to Isnack,Energiser and Legless.It was quite short due to anticipation of hot weather and the fact that we missed the education part.
